The Storm is Coming

The Storm is Coming

Everyone can relate to what it feels like to lose control of your life. Being subjected to forces other than one's own. This can be an incredibly painful burden. It is hard to feel the hardships of life, whether it is the loss of friendship, marriage, partnership, whether it is an illness or the most brutal of deaths. In these darkest times, we need someone to see us and hear us.

In the sphere of darkness, in the cold, deep place. Among other things, fear resides here, the fear that what you are going through will not have meaning. You stand your ground, but fear that you will lose. It is the fear that the suffering will not end. Here you are allowed to be, here you must allow yourself to be, you must acknowledge the darkness that lives in you, by darkness I mean the sadness, the despair, the disappointment. You must not deny, not always hide, occasionally you need to rest at the bottom in your depth, in this process you will know, maybe eventually understand. But this takes time, your patience and courage must be great. Courage means that you do something despite the fear, after being in the deep you fill yourself with courage, hope is kindled, so you get up and jump from the bottom, you are going up.

When you lose hope, you also lose something deeply human. There will be times when you need to feel hope. In the case of bad feelings such as loss, suffering and endurance, hope creates vitality and joy in life. In these critical dark moments, you turn your gaze towards the light far away, even if you do not know for sure that it is there. Because life promises nothing, but when hope remains, we can still experience trust and security that something will turn out well. Even when we face storm after storm, we need to believe that something better awaits us. This is what gives us the fighting spirit to face what lies ahead with courage. Hope unites our present with the past and future which gives our life meaning.

"The Storm is Coming" acknowledges that life can be chaotic and demanding. Things happen that we have no control over, except for how we choose to act during stormfull nights. The message is that you can be the creator of your own life, with hope for a better future. Remember that even in the dark something meaningful may grow. This is my ode to all the people who need to be seen, heard and uplifted. I wish for people to never feel alone, there is healing in sharing.

This song is a tale from my life, my darkness, my gold. Now I wish to share it with all of you, it is time you see your gold too!
